Medical Pavilion: Hudson Capital Properties and Carolina East Health Systems have teamed together to expand the already extensive medical facilities in New Bern. Lifestyle

The Community offers extensive sidewalks for walking/jogging and bike lanes, workout facilities, a pool, tennis, pickleball courts, golf, a Pavilion with a restaurant, and over 30 groups & clubs for social activities. Cable TV and fiber internet are provided via the negotiated community HOA contract at only $66 per month.

The Pavillion is open to all residents of Carolina Colours. Included in the Home Owners Association fees is access to the pool, tennis and pickle ball courts, gym, library, gym, yoga studio, as well as the sports bar & cafe'.

Residents enjoy an active lifestyle. Water aerobics, yoga classes, the community cycling club, and paved walking trails throughout the community are just a few ways that people get up and get moving. There are many activities that attract many people of all ages and fitness levels.

Community Pavilion

Our Association owned clubhouse, the Pavilion, is a 17,000 SF multi-functional building that is the social center for the community. With seemingly non-stop activities for groups both large and small, and with spaces indoors and out to just sit and relax, it is the perfect centerpiece for active living.

Swimming Pool

The Carolina Colours pool is open to all property owners from late April through mid-October.

Spring hours of operation are 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. Summer months are from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm with late summer (Sept. & Oct.) hours reverting back to 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. The adults-only time is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am through 9:00 am.

Pickleball Courts

The fastest-growing sport in America for the third year running is a part of the community fabric. Carolina Colours has two pickleball courts and opportunities for all levels of players. Introductory clinics are offered throughout the year. Player development clinics for women are offered on Saturdays. focused on court positioning and game strategy.

Coastal Plain Senior Pickleball League offers an opportunity for the more competitive players to join the Carolina Colours Commandos team and compete against 7 other clubs in the surrounding area.

Tennis Courts

Carolina Colours Association is pleased to offer the use of its tennis courts to its residents and guests. All courts are open daily, from sunrise to sunset. There is a Tennis Club that organizes games and competitions. Community Tennis Club is led by resident volunteers who organize competitions and instructional sessions for players new to the sport. The Tennis Club usually plays in the mornings and on Saturdays.

Yoga

Carolina Colours has two certified yoga instructors who volunteer their time weekly to teach yoga for free to residents. The New Fitness Center opened in 2024.

The community has miles of walking trails and sidewalks, many within the tree line. Walkers, joggers, and pet lovers are spotted in the morning, throughout the day, and evening hours on most days. The main road through the community is marked with bike lanes in both directions. On Saturday mornings a community member holds a fitness boot camp, open to all fitness levels.

Constructed in 2024, the Fitness Center has treadmills, exercise bikes, elliptical trainers, free weights, and strength machines. The building is accessible 24/7 with a key fob issued by the Homeowners Association.

Carolina Colours Dog Park

Two play areas, one for small dogs and one for large dogs. Both areas are surrounded by a four-foot chain link fence.

Each area has a double gate for leashing up with gravel substrate. Play areas are flat and grassy. Water is available. Sun shelter is split along the common fence of both dog areas.
